Folk music is getting more and more popular between young people around the world and The Lumineers is just an example of it. Their self-titled album peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and their first single Ho Hey peaked at number 3 on the Hot 100.
The band from Denver will be playing tonight with the support at PHOX.
Phox 11:45AM PT / 2:45PM ET / 7:45PM BST

The time has come. Tonight we can finally see the Comedy Central's roast of James Franco. Seth Rogers, Bill Hader and Jonah Hill are just some of the stars that will be making fun of Franco tonight.
You can watch the show on TV on Comedy Central at 10 PM ET or stream it online for free through Comedy Central website http://www.comedycentral.com/ or using the CC: Stand-Up app.
James Spader will be the maniac robot Ultron on the Avengers sequel to be released on May 2015. In the Marvel universe, Ultron is a robot with several skills like super speed and super strength. He can fly and is able to control his enemies minds.
In the meantime we can see James Spader on the series The Blacklist which premieres September 23 on NBC.
Not as well known as Lady Gaga, Sigur Rós is a icelandic post-rock band with an ethereal sound. They're been making music since 1994 and tonight (this afternoon for us in the US) they will be taking the stage at the Roundhouse in Camden, London at 9 PM (GMT). The indi pop band Poliça will be the opening act at 7:45 PM.
If as me, you are in the east coast of the US, you can stream the Sigur Rós live show at 4 PM.
For those who have never listened about Sigur Rós before, here is Brennisteinn from their 2013 album Kveikur.
Mother Monster is back! Lady Gaga performed seven new songs for her upcoming album Artpop during the first day of the iTunes Music Festival.
She was great considering she didn't sing any of her many hits of the past and although we missed her old material it was a good opportunity to hear what is coming, especially because we have to expect until November 11 to hear the full new album.
Almost all the songs were classic Gaga tecnopop except Jewels & Drugs, a hip hop number featuring rappers T.I., Too $hort and Twista. She made clear that she wanted to do something new and try to do something "out of the box" of pop music. Sure, pop singer + rappers = out of the box. Maybe you need to try a little harder Mother Monster. Having said that, the songs sound fresh and Gaga definitely came back.
The iTunes Music Festival starts today. 30 days of concert you can enjoy from your living room or wherever you are with your smartphone. You can stream a different live from London show every day during the whole September. Lady Gaga is the opening act. She'll be performing in less than an hour now.
You can watch it on your desktop iTunes, Apple TV or iOS devices. You can download the iTunes Festival App in the iTunes store too.
See below the complete line up and stay tuned for updates. The best news... no Miley Cyrus!
