Pilot episode (in two parts) of Hulu's first original animated series is available to stream now. Co-producer, SNL star Seth Meyers gives his voice to the main character, a young superhero who has to lead a group of C class superheroes after the real team quick.
In the two parts pilot the main characters are presented. The team included a kid with double personality and a guy with mommy-issues among others. You definitely are not going to see this series on the 2014 Emmys but you can have a good time watching it.
The only thing I really don't like is that you can only watch these two episode. I think Hulu should learn one or two things from Netflix and let the people decide the way they want to watch the content. Let's be honest, we're not talking about Mad Men in here so I don't think a lot of people actually are going to be waiting for episode 3, and then 4, and then 5... so maybe it would be better to have all the episodes at once. Yesterday I'd have watched at least two more episodes; next week I don't know. Breaking Bad is about to start after all and we get running Dexter, The Newsroom, Ray Donovan, etc, etc, etc.
The Awesomes is available now on Hulu and Hulu Plus.
